The suspension is due to ASI-PRO-20-101-v4.3, clause 13.1.3. The relevant nonconformity was raised during an FSC COC Witness Assessment conducted in 2019. The finding relates to undetected non-conformities by the certification body at the level of one of their Certificate Holders.
ASI has concluded that the CAB has not sufficiently addressed a Corrective Action request.
During the suspension period of maximum six months, which started on 10th February, the CAB may not enter into new agreements for certification or perform initial certification services. However, the certification body shall continue to conduct surveillance audits for existing clients during the period of suspension.
