From Monday 18th to Saturday 23rd May, FSC UK will be at the Chelsea Flower Show with WWF UK on stan GPJ5 within the Discovery Zone in the Great Pavilion. We're hoping to talk to as many people as possible about FSC certified garden products, and show off our great stand! Find out about the Chelsea Flower Show on their website.
The exhibit showcases some of the ways in which trees and woodland plants can be used in the garden, and the many wood/forest goods available to gardeners.
Staff from FSC UK and WWF UK will be on hand to answer questions. We will be asking visitors to add their name to WWF’s forest petition, calling for the closure of legal loopholes that allow products made with illegally harvested wood, including items such as garden tools, to be sold in the UK. The petition has already been signed by more than 64,000 people and will be presented in time for a review of the EU Timber Regulation later this year.
