FSC certification for small and community woodlands - What, why and how?

Small and community woods currently make up only a fraction of the FSC-certified area in the UK, but we’re convinced that there are a growing number of ways they can benefit from certification.

For that reason, we’re participating in a joint event with the Community Woodlands Association, Llais y Goedwig and the Small Woods Association, looking at the potential gains from certification and exploring what it would mean on a practical level for community and small woodlands.

The event will be held on Tuesday 23 March, 14.00-15.30. We’ll be exploring what certification could mean for your woodland, why you should consider it and how it would work in practice. You can register for the event through any of the participating organisations:
