These are just two examples of the kind of feedback we receive on a regular basis at FSC UK; the first by a print customer and the second by an FSC certified printer.
At FSC UK we’re working to try to join up the dots to ensure both that print customers can achieve their desired outcomes and promote their choice to use FSC certified paper, and that printers can see and feel the worth of their certification.
We’ll be working with FSC certified printers and major print customers with good visibility amongst consumers to support the application of the FSC label, the use of the new FSC ‘Forests for All Forever’ brandmarks and associated Marketing Toolkit and increase consumer recognition and understanding of FSC.
We plan to produce marketing materials for FSC certified printers to use. We’d like to take this opportunity to invite printers to input into the process – tell us what you want and what you don’t want, let us know if you’d like to work with us on pilots or case studies or if you have a particularly interesting FSC labelled project whose story you’d like to share. With your help we hope to ensure that we tackle this issue in the best, most-appropriate and most effective manner for the benefit of everyone – not least the world’s forests!
