The InstallSHOW has become an annual go-to event for thousands of installers from across the UK. The show is attended by professionals in heating, plumbing, commercial engineering, renewable energy and electricity. Visitors have access to an array of leading brands in the industry, showcasing innovative products and services, ideas and initiatives. In partnership with the Bathroom Manufacturers Association, the Bathroom Zone will showcase the latest products and solutions and host discussions, as the Association shares its vision for a sustainable future.
“Installers are fundamental to helping consumers make sustainable choices when refurbishing their bathrooms. With furniture growing to be the second largest category of bathroom product, its essential that they are sure that materials are ethically sourced."
- Tom Reynolds, CEO Bathroom Manufacturers Association.
Making sure bathroom furniture and wall panels are sustainably sourced
Both furniture and wall panels are growing categories of products in bathroom installation. But how can installers be sure that they have been manufactured with sustainable and ethically sourced materials? This is what Rosie will be talking about in the Bathroom Zone at 11.15am on 29 June.
Rosie says: “People may not associate FSC with bathrooms, beyond their choice of toilet roll, but it’s important to consider the source of the timber and other forest products in every room of the house. I’m delighted to have this opportunity to raise awareness of FSC in this sector.”
