FSC International together with FSC Denmark will be hosting "In Good Company", a conference for national and international companies interested in FSC, CSR, NGO cooperation and working with labeling schemes as part of a company’s brand.
In Good Company stands out from other CSR conferences by exploring the complicated and from time to time controversial relationship between companies and NGOs in depth. Questions like ”What are the benefits?”, ”What is the risk?” and “What should a company pay special attention to?” will be discussed.
From the Coca Cola Company and LEGO to WWF and Greenpeace.
The two-day conference will feature keynote speakers from the senior management of international NGOs as well as leading companies working strategically with branding through environmental labeling. All sessions will include open debates and lots of discussion. Among the speakers are representatives from The Coca Cola Company, Ben & Jerry’s, LEGO, WWF International and Greenpeace International.
In Good Company will be held at the Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers in Copenhagen on 10th - 11th October 2013. Constructed for the Climate Summit in 2009, the hotel has won numerous awards for its green profile, thus creating the perfect setting for the event. In the evening of 10th October a Gala dinner will be held for all participants featuring inspirational keynote speaker Rob Michalak, Global Director of Social Mission, Ben & Jerry's.
