FSC join forces with strategic partner organisations this year to set sustainable wood sourcing on the agenda of Carrefour du Bois, one of the most prominent international trade fairs for wood industry located in Europe.
Tropical forests are highly valued for their biodiversity and the role they play in supporting life on earth. FSC has set clear target for increasing the uptake of FSC certification in tropical forest regions.
The aim of this event to create a platform for businesses along the tropical timber value chain that are committed to sourcing FSC, to meet, enhance existing business relationships and establish new ones. The targeted participants of this event are sales, procurement, supplier quality assurance and sustainability departments of companies from construction, wood processing, trading, and forest management sectors.
