DEFRA’s ‘If They’re Gone’ campaign is raising awareness about the plight of wild tigers, rhinos, elephants and orangutans and how we can all help save them from extinction.

Knowsley Safari Park is leading on the elephant campaign and their aim is to make people stop and think about elephants and raise awareness of their plight.  The campaign advocates the small changes that can be made, contributing to making big changes for animals like elephants and their habitats.

Knowsley Safari Park has got an area dedicated to FSC and is also running an FSC competition. The FSC area gives visitors further information about the importance of responsible forestry and urges people to check that the timber and paper products they buy are FSC certified.

The campaign will be running until the end of the summer and further information can be found here: www.knowsleysafariexperience.co.uk
