FSC UK and FSC Russia are pleased to announce that our school postcard exchange is due to run again this year, and we are currently looking for schools to sign up.
Last year’s programme was extremely successful, with school pupils in the UK and Russia sending each other FSC certified postcards and introducing each other to their cultures and their school.
Schools can continue postcard writing for as long as they like, and the FSC will provide the postcards.Ideally we’d like discussions to focus around forests and conservation, at least to begin with! The differences in forestry in the UK and Russia is certainly something that can spark discussions amongst all age groups, and could even become the subject of a lesson.
