FSC-PRO-60-006b FSC Risk Assessment Framework  provides a comprehensive tool for companies to assess and mitigate risks of sourcing forest materials. Once adopted, this new Risk Assessment will replace the existing FSC National Risk Assessment for the UK (FSC-NRA-GB V1-0) for controlled wood and will also act as a key document within the suite of FSC EUDR support tools including the Regulatory Module.

This next generation FSC Risk Assessment includes 64 indicators for assessing risks connected to relevant legal, social and environmental aspects of sourcing timber.   The Risk Assessment will therefore be used by companies sourcing from, and within, the UK to create their due diligence systems for FSC Controlled Wood, and in support of their EUDR declarations when exporting into the EU.  It will also be integral to meeting the requirements of the FSC new Regulatory Module.
