As we pursue our goal of creating a consumer movement, FSC strives to learn more about the needs of consumers in different markets worldwide. In 2017, we commissioned GlobeScan to conduct global consumer research in 13 markets to assess the marketplace for sustainable forest products, certification, and the value of the FSC brand.

The results indicate a high consumer interest in responsible forestry, and trust in FSC. Consumers feel more confident that FSC will protect forests than government or businesses. This provides not only a strong business case for FSC certification, but for communicating the associated benefits more broadly.

Join our webinars on 29 May or 6 June to see the research results, and to get insider advice and tips from speakers representing various companies, such as Kimberly-Clark, McDonald’s, Sofidel, and Tetra Pak, who will speak to their experiences with marketing FSC-certified products to consumers.
