Effective 1 July 2018 are a set of international generic indicators (IGIs) that address the International Labour Organisation (ILO) conventions principles; intact forest landscapes; free, prior, and informed consent (FPIC); ecosystem services; and transaction verification.

Bonn, July 2, 2018.- The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) has been carrying out exhaustive investigations of European charcoal producers and traders following allegations that some companies could be sourcing from non-FSC certified forests and mixing non-certified material in FSC labelled bags.

Following the controlled wood strategy workshop in June, we have been busy drafting a text based on the common-ground established by the workshop participants.
