The European Deforestation Regulation continues to be a cause of concern for many organisations who may be impacted by the new anti-deforestation legislation, currently set to be implemented from 1 January 2026.  

The Sustainable Forestry Forum, held on 16 October 2025 at ZSL London Zoo, co-hosted by ZSL and FSC UK, brought together experts, practitioners and policymakers to explore how forest certification and cross-sector collaboration can drive meaningful change.

FSC UK is fortunate to have a skilled and knowledgeable Board of Trustees to support and steer our work. FSC UK aims to achieve chamber balance in the Board, with at least one trustee and, normally, no more than four trustees representing each of the three chambers (Environmental, Social and Economic). Two new trustees were recently elected to the Board.
