The FSC Ecosystem Services Procedure FSC-PRO-30-006, an initiative to create incentives for the preservation of valuable ecosystem services in responsibly managed forests, has been launched. This is a world-first in forest certification.

Trademark Standard FSC-STD-50-001 (V2-0) Requirements for use of the FSC trademarks by certificate holders came into effect on 1 March 2018. FSC has developed a number of tools to support stakeholders in the implementation of the revised standard.
